Aikenhead House is a unique, quirky Perthshire farmhouse and surrounding organic small holding. The land has always been a dwelling, originally with Pictish stones (unfortunately destroyed and only in historic records now) then a small bothy that was built on numerous times until the latest extension of the 1870s!

Adam and Rosie (plus their dogs and cats) live in the middle section of the house and The Attic and The Cottage are at either end - with their own parking, private entrance, wood burning hot tub and outdoor space. Surrounding the house there are wild flower beds and hedges to encourage wildlife, a large vegetable garden, apples, pears, plums and crab apples trees, pygmy goats, Shetland sheep, chickens, bantams and sometimes ponies!

The house is up a farm track and is rural and peaceful - this is a place to relax and unwind. You will need a car to access shops etc and there is no public transport locally (although there are a few taxi firms that we can recommend who will come to us)
